During the official visit of the Prime Minister of Slovenia to Egypt, 15 and 16 December, Slovenia will be presented in a photographic exhibition entitled “Laščak’s Heritage Today” by Matjaž Kačičnik exhibiting the photographs of buildings designed in Egypt by the Slovenian architect Anton Laščak (1856-1946), and the exhibition of the Gorica Museum on Alexandrines. The exhibition will be officially opened by Prime Minister Borut Pahor. The opening of the exhibition will feature a short show from Zoran Predin and his band, while the invitees will be served potica cake, Slovenian juices and wines.

Zoran Predin and his band will perform twice in Cairo: on 15 December in the El Goury theatre for around 200 guests from Slovenia and Egypt, and on 16 December in the El Gomhouria hall (Cairo Opera) for around 600 guests from Egypt. Zoran Predin will perform in Egypt on the invitation of the Egyptian Minister of Culture as a part of the international cultural exchange between Slovenia and Egypt. This is the first official performance of a Slovenian musician in Egypt.
