Zavec managed to stop Isaac Hlatshwayo of South Africa in the third round, with knock out, on Friday night to win the IBF welterweight title at Wembley Indoor Arena.

Hlatshwayo was knocked down once in the second round and twice in the third before American referee Kenny Chevalier halted the fight with 42 seconds left in the third.

With this match the 33-year-old Zaveck's 16th career knockout raised his record to 28-1.

From the first punch, Zavec was in control of his first world title, while on the other hand "Angel" looked a little bit frightened by "Mr. Simpatikus".
