With this achievement Rusjan brothers are written in history as the pioneers of Slovenian and also the world aviation. The plane flew only 60 meters at a height of two meters and it was constructed using U.S. aircraft Curtiss as a model. After several improvements of the plane and successes they started the construction of aircraft for commercial purposes. The first prototype, constructed in Zagreb, was a unique achievement. It was able to take of only after 28 meters which was then considered to be a world record. 

Edvard tragically died during the presentation tour of a plane in Belgrade, 1911.
