PictureSlovenia.com, in cooperation with the Slovenian Tourist Board and partners, continues the global photography competition, through which it wants to increase the visibility of Slovenia in the world and encourage visitors, fans, and friends of Slovenia to get involved in the presentation of Slovenia. The contest ends May 22, 2012. Publication of winners: June 4, 2012.

If you are an amateur or professional photographer and have already visited Slovenia, or you may be in Slovenia during the contest, then you might be interested. If you want to visit Slovenia in the future and you are an amateur or professional photographer, you also have enough time to participate in the contest.

The competition takes place in three categories:

- best photograph,

- photograph with a mobile phone

- top photo series (reportage) on Slovenia

There will be prizes: 10.000 € for the best photograph.

Www.PictureSlovenia.com is the online representation for the largest photo contest in Slovenia - so far it has been visited by over 160,000 people from 65 countries worldwide. The online part of the project was just the beginning of a long-term project; namely, in 2011 and 2012, Picture Slovenia found its place in the form of physical exhibitions around the world.
