Silver goes to Austria's Gregor Schlierenzauer and bonze goes to Anders Jacobsen from Norway. Slovenian top ski jumper Robi Kranjec takes 5th place.

"It feels great to be a ski flying world champion. After Oslo I felt mentally tired, but my body was still on fire. It takes a lot of energy to fly here, because Planica is still Planica even with the new profile,” said Ammann. “I was on the way to the record, but I would have maybe needed the wind of other contestants.
