Religion in Slovenia

Slovenia is mostly Roman Catholics although you can find around 40 other religious communities and spiritual groups registered . In Slovenia, state and religion are separated, therefore everybody has the right to their own religion beliefs and nobody is obligated to declare their religion or beliefs.

Religious communities enjoy equal rights, and they pursue their activities freely.

 

According to the 2002 Census, the figures for religious affiliation are as follows:
