The type of account differs whether you are a resident or non-resident in Slovenia. Residents are those who work in Slovenia for more than 6 months and have according work permits. Non-residents are persons who don't comply to the residents standards. Non-resident accounts are limited to sending and accepting money both in the country and internationaly.

The easiest way to open a bank account is go to the branch office of the bank you've chosen. All you need is a photo ID and you can fill out all the forms in the bank.
