Vogel Ski Resort

Description:

Vogel ski resort is located high above Lake Bohinj, in the heart of protected territory Triglav National Park. It is connected with the valley bellow with a cable car. Skiing on Vogel started back in 1964 with the introduction of cable car which was completely renovated in 2001 and has a capacity of 950 passengers per hour. Cable car operates all year around except during regular annual refit.

Ski season on Vogel starts with the first snow, in December and lasts until May every year. Ski slopes are not demanding and are also suitable for beginner skiers. There is also a cross-cuntry ski track as well as one of the nicests snowboard parks in Slovenia.

Resort also offers a hotel, private apartments and numerous restaurant, ski service and rental skiing school, snow kindergarten as well as tandem paraglider flights.
