Rogla Ski Resort

Description:

Rogla is Slovenia's most advanced ski resort. It received numerous awards among which are 6 Golden snow flakes for the best and most organized Slovene ski centre. The winter season on Rogla usualy starts at beginning of December and lasts until April. Ski slopes are covered with natural and compact snow. There are aprox. 100 hectares of ski slopes suitable for beginners as well as advanced skiers. There are 11 ski lifts, 2 chair lifts and tens of kilometers of ski-runner tracks.

Rogla also offers many activities for the summer season. Covered sports halls in nearby resort PLANJA offer gym, tennis, basketball, indoor swimming pool and sauna as well as other terrains for sports. Outdoor activities such as football, nordic walking, trekking and cycling are also very popular. Rogla's guests include many professional athletes due to it's exceptional climate and good grounds for training.
