This town is most famous for its winter sports but is the heart of the valley in summer too. Traditional mountain sports and extreme  sports are united here. The biggest asset of Kranjska Gora is of course it's ski resort. There are 14 ski lifts as well as 5 chairlifts. There are aprox. 70 hectars of ski tracks suitable for the beginner as well as advanced skiers. Skiing world championships are organized every year in Kranjska Gora which confirms the high profile of this ski resort. 

The town also offers many ski shops and ski rental companies as well as ski schools, numerous bars and restaurants that are very busy after the ski day is over!
